I first started working as a ski instructor in my home country of New Zealand during the 1988 ski season. It seems so long ago now. I have been a fully qualified ski instructor and instructor trainer for the Coronet Peak ski school based in Queenstown, NZ for 18 years now. I first came to Switzerland, Morgins in 1997, encouraged here by long time friend, and ski instructor, Ernest Monay, a true local of the village. Since then I have returned every season and thoroughly enjoyed each season and this wonderful skiing domain.

I passed my ISIA, international full certification in 1994. I followed the New Zealand system for this exam and then went on to be a Ski Instructor Trainer. Instructing the Instructors, it's completely different to the regular ski instructional work. It has been very challenging and has helped me to develop my teaching skills.

I decided to set up Morgins Snow Sports as a way to provide information on the internet for people wishing to ski and ride in the Morgins ski area. I look forward to feed-back and continuing to upgrade this site.

I thoroughly enjoy skiing with new people and old friends. Relaxing, having fun on the slopes and enjoying the enviroment are important factors of this sport. I am happy to teach all levels of skiing, I particularly like teaching beginner skiers and showing them how much fun this exciting sport can be.

I look forward to hearing from you.
